this is a piece that i am going to submit to a contest for Seventh Sanctum [link]
I used their Class/Profession Generator on the Steampunk setting to get the class: RivetMistress.
I had to do a good bit of research on steampunk and victorian fashion to come up with her outfit and whatever, but i love the way she's come out.
And now, a description!

The RivetMistress is a highly skilled craftswoman who works mainly on dirigibles. She not only designs them, but also puts them together, mainly by herself. Because she is so knowledgeable of the inner workings of her crafts, she can also pilot them better than anyone alive. If ever she were caught in battle, her rivet gun would be her only weapon. Her primary attacks would be slinging the gun around by its tubing to hit her opponent rather than shotting them with rivets. (metal to make rivets is expensive as is the pressurized gas to shoot them)
